Laser Hair Removal History Making Sale

Hey girls I can’t believe I forgot to tell y’all but Laser Clinic http://www.laserclinics.com.au/ is having a huge sale on hair removal 90% off. I think the sale is over at the end of the month (Jan). I went on Saturday for my first underarm treatment…. had a consult first and then had the procedure done. Oh my gosh, painless and took less than 60 seconds for both sides! It cost me 6 dollars and because of I have darker skin I needed 10 treatments (I have coarser hair). I bought the 10 treatments at 6 dollars each.

Just checked their website and they have another special on! $9 for armpits and $19 for bikini … I can’t believe how many locations they have in NSW … come to QLD PLEEEEEEEASE!!!!! 🙁

Yeah, she said it was the lightest setting, I guess my skin can’t handle even that.
I got it done today with another machine, and the therapist was so thorough, she did every square millimeter of my underarms!
There’s no more pigmentation now, hopefully it won’t ever appear…

Don’t know if this topic was dead and buried, but I finally got my first laser treatment!
LaserClinics were having another sale (underarms $19), more expensive than the last sale, but still cheaper than no sale!
Anyway, it didn’t hurt too much, but the problem was- I got some dark marks! It was pigmentation caused by the laser, and in the shape of the round nozzle!!
    *WARNING TO ASIANS*
Apparently, although we may look light, we have alot of pigmentation in the skin, and laser will probably increase it……..!!!!!
So I had to reschedule the 2nd appointment (I just went along thinking it was slight burns, which I would have preferred!) and apparently there’s another laser machine that won’t cause pigmentation.
SO hopefully this will get rid of my hair and not cause any pigmentation to appear….
I was already devastated by the fact that I won’t be able to rely on laser later to improve my skin, I hope my dream of permanently hairless armpits won’t be dashed as well!!
I’m glad to hear everyone has been having such good results though!

The therapist should have started with the lightest setting so this would not happen. Did you ask them what the setting was at?

I wish there were clinics in Queensland!!! I sent them an email so hopefully they will open some clinics for me 🙂

Question.. Can you go to different clinics for laser hair removal? Or do you jsut stay at the one clinic? I’m asking because there are sales at various clinics and I wouldn’t mind moving around!

I just checked the website and they are going to open clinics in other states, including Victoria (mine). Hope they continue to have good specials but expect they will have good opening specials. Keep an eye on the website to see when they are opening in QLD. x

just had my second session. didnt feel a thing on the underarms and the bikini line hurt about 1/4 the amount it did last time…thank goodness. I have to say that they have been very generous with their margins as well – they said that they were only going to do what was outside the undies – anything inside is meant to be counted as a brazillian, but they have gone about 2cm inside the undies as well which is great as it means that nothing is going to ‘pop out’ from the swimmers!

Went today and I highly recommend the chatswood clinic! It was alll over before I could even think about it! Was very quick and didn’t hurt even though I had a brazilian. The clinic itself was very clean and really nice, very chic waiting area. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and professional making the treatments a breeze.
