larger breasts
I know this sounds like a strange topic in the dilemma section but it really is strange. My cousin who is thirteen turning fourteen has a very small chest(AA cup) and she’s always complaining about how small her breasts are. She started puberty early at around 11 and is almost fourteen but is still small. She wishes to know what you can do to gain a larger chest. Can anyone give her an answer to that?

Of course darl, I`ve always had breasts so you`re totally right that I can`t comment there, and I feel for you. I know many young girls go through a lot of trauma trying to grow their breasts and wishing they were bigger…
My point is thought that we shouldn`t ENCOURAGE the attitude that makes girls feel like this, ie. that they SHOULD have bigger breasts. I mean we should, as a society, be reminding everyone that both big and small is really sexy! Like models being skinny, having big breasts is another distorted body image thing and I think we should always try and remember that, hard as it is.
On the flipside darl, you don`t know what it`s like to have big breasts! I know this may sound like I`m complaining about nothing and I don`t mean to sound hurtful, but talk to any woman with bigger breasts… the grass is always greener on the other side. Saggy breasts, sweat rash, painful exercise, not fitting into clothes, everyone making you feel truly vilified and like a piece of meat by staring at your chest when talking to you… think how it feels being callously “”wolf-whistled”” when walking down the street, and imagine not being able to wear a singlet or t-shirt without having that feeling constantly.
I`m not trying to discount your problems; there are just problems with both, are all I`m saying.

I didn`t mean to recommend plastic surgery. I just know how it feels like when you are a young girl and you look like a boy. Or when you`re 21 and you you`re less developed than a 12 year old girl these days. Since I can talk out of my own experience, I just wanted to say, that I have tried everything possible in a natural way to develop some breasts but nothing worked. I pretty much woke up every day since I was 13 and hoped, something grew over night, but it didn`t. And trust me, push up bras don`t do anything either.
And also, anyone who fits into a bra, who has got a good size breast, doesn`t know what it feels like not to have any.

Damn us athletic bodied people 🙁
Im almost 18 & never actually been properly fitted for a bra, But i wear a 10b..
They best way i look at it is that smaller boobs will always look cuter and sexier in a fancy bra than huge ones lol so i just make the best with what i`ve got 🙂 -

I don`t know about recommending plastic surgery – of course it`s everyone`s choice, but first and foremost I think we should be remembering to teach young girls and to remind each other that it`s what`s on the inside that counts, and that boob size should not be made such a big deal of! The most important thing is always to be happy with your body and learn to accept it, lumps and all, the way it is.

Honestly, there is nothing she can do! I tried natural tablets which promised the breasts to grow and a lot of other stuff. But I was also told that you can still grow until you`re 18, so don`t give up. And if that doesn`t help, plastic surgery after you turned 21.

I found some really nice bras in best & less, no wire and padded. very comfy. i got the hot pink one i was describing before, and a white one that clips up at the front (not maternity!) for school (stupid shirts are very light and see through when wet). my only thing is the wire and finding a size band small enough. im a 10aa and happy with it. who cares what size you are if you are happy with it??
not me.

At 13, I don`t think she needs to worry at all. I hadn`t actually hit puberty at 13… She has years to grow and being an A cup through high school is actually quite helpful.
Beautyqueen95, I`m 18 and still an A cup – you at least still have more time to grow, but while you`re young, I think having A cup really was nice since like you said, everything was easier to do. I`m glad you`re happy to be an A cup – at least for now.
A cup bras are quite easy to find. I see them everywhere. Major department stores, best and less and good bra shops, such as bras n things, are places to try. Hope you find nice ones you like. 🙂 -

Heehee you make me laugh Beautyqueen! I`m the same, although I have DD cup breasts I don`t particularly think either is best, and although I`m happy with how I am I see the benefits of smaller breasts, there are just so many annoying things about having bigger ones. I`m not even going to start listing them coz it would go onnnnnn……
Good to hear, keep on ranting! 🙂 xxx
