John Freida Colour Shampoo

Hi Girls,

I have been having my hair foiled lighter and lighter each time I visit the Hairdresser. It’s almost all completly a whiteish blonde. Someome recommended to try their blonde shampoo and conditioner collection. When it says Platnium to Champaign, what kind of colour would it turn?

PipSqueak the John Frieda range comes in a few different formulas for different blondes – they`re just targetted at particular colours as listed (ie platinum to champage) – using the shampoo/conditioner won`t actually change the colour of your hair – it`s just designed to keep help keep your hair colour as it is – ie stopping it from going brassy etc.
    .
Having said that, I`m not a fan of those products at all – I have dry, coarse hair (I`m a natural blonde but I get blonde highlights too) – and I simply do not find those products nourishing enough for my hair. My personal fave is the Loreal Shine Blonde range – a little bit more expensive than John Frieda but well worth the money I think – and you only need to use a little too.

I have used the John Freida Shampoo designed for Champagne to Platinum blonde hair (my hair is a whitish blonde all over). I have to admit I was not that impressed with the John Freida Shampoo, I found that it really dried out the ends of my hair and my hair became very limp and lifeless. I found I had to use extra treatments in my hair to give it some moisture and my hair seemed to be very split end prone. I have since tried other shampoos for blonde hair and find that PPS and RPR are by far the best products for my hair. They nourish as well and protect my hair and leaves it feeling soft and silky. I know that RPR and PPS are more expensive in price but in my opinion I think they are worth the extra.

John Freida really looks after your hair and will care for lighter shades of blonde. Dont forget to include the mask, it works a real treat.
