This is my favourite DIY mask:

    1 tbsp honey
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 tsp ground nutmeg

And that’s it! Sometimes I also like to add a little lemon as it helps to dry up any pimples I have. This mask is really moisturising and exfoliating, it’s good for people with acne/acne scarring.

Another really simple mask is just a beaten egg yolk. My skin always feels sooo soft afterward.

I usually leave these on for around half an hour each.

Regarding using honey as a mask, does any one have any tips? I always find that it melts right off within a few minutes and I have to wash it straight off.

I put the honey container in a bowl of boiling water to soften it (honey is the only thing in the world that will never go off because of its sugar content, if it crystalises soften in hot water for like 10 mins) lay a few towls on the bathroom floor if your bathroom is big enough add a pillo also cover with a towl and lay down for like 10 mins after applying a smooth layer of honey and relax. then just wash it off and tone and moisturise whitch hazel is the best toner i have found so i recoment it for anything

For dry skin mash up an avocado with a very small amount of milk and apply, rinse off after 10 minutes!

tooth whitening mix arrowroot and cinnamon 3:1, use a wet tooth brush to work it over your teeth, rinse well, i usually brush with tooth paste to make sure there are no little bits of cinnamon in my teeth afterwards.

I really like the tooth whitening mix, it’s it actually okay for your teeth, because I hear a lot of DIY teeth whitening that could cause damage to your enamel..

It is fine for your teeth no enamel damage and it tastes a bit weird but ok, i have been doing it twice a week for about 15 yrs and have great teeth, despite drinking red wine and coffee!

Is that just arrowroot biscuit, or powder? Having a blonde moment 🙁

If apple cider is not your thing, try Lemon or lime juice, about half a cup of juice to 1 cup of warm water, beer also works but i dont like the smell.

exfoliant for your hands and feet, equal parts of olive/ almond oil and raw sugar, for body use use brown sugar, the grains are smaller.

For an amazing softening bath, add about a cup of oats and half a cup of milk powder to a warm bath! i often just use the oats, i take a handful and scrub with the oat then soak in the bath.

tooth whitening mix arrowroot and cinnamon 3:1, use a wet tooth brush to work it over your teeth, rinse well, i usually brush with tooth paste to make sure there are no little bits of cinnamon in my teeth afterwards.

good luck, hope you have a great girls night in!

Soaking a cotton round with lemon juice, adding about a teaspoon of sugar and softly rubbing it all over your face makes a really good yet cheap facial exfoliant. It can be used as often as needed, even every day if you want.

For random unexpected breakouts, which I find a saviour to reduce inflammation and decrease the size of pimples.

1/2 tbspn of yoghurt OR milk
    1/4 tblspn of honey
4 or 5 drops of squeezed lemon

    1. Mix altogether and either dot on the blemish spots or apply on prone areas such as the t-zone.
    2. Leave it on for 10-15mins then rinse off

Brighten your dull & fatigue skin

    1 tblspn of carrot juice
    1/2 tblspn of fine sugar

    1. Mix together and add honey until it creates a runny paste.
    2. Apply to face and leave for 10-15mins then rinse off.

For a Smoother and Softer Skin

    1 egg preferably cold

    1. Crack egg and separate yolk from white
    2. Apply egg white directly to face, concentrating on oily areas or the t-zone. Leave on til it dries completely, though you’ll feel you have a ‘mini facelift’ session lol
    3. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.

    4. Apply yolk all over face concetrating on dry areas.

    5. Leave on til it dries and rinse off.

Egg white- draws excess oil out of you skin and ‘tightens’ your pores hence getting that very smooth texture after rinsing it off
Egg yolk- moisturises which won’t make your skin produce more oil and leaving skin soft and nourished

Since one egg is a lot, you can store them in the fridge til the next day and use it again overnight!
