Hi fairypuff, Has he tried the Alpha-H Clear Skin range? It contains Salicylic acid to unblock pores, and prevent acne from forming. Look for products containing Salicylic Acid. Glycolic acid products are also great for controlling acne. Diet wise, dairy has been named as a contributor to acne, due to the added hormones. I suffer from acne, and have used the Clear Skin Range to great effect. ASAP is also another fantastic, effective range designed to treat acne in men and women of all ages.

I cant tell if this nw sudden post is bogus and some ad campaign in subtle.. sorry – mrajdadas it just seems odd.

esp since on other threads also several women, myslef included mention that Oxy is a good brand for skin help and a light exfoliator, for men and evne for us to use.

    just my 2 cents

I know this post is nearly two years old lol but i have found that daily use of a product line called `Oxy` is really good as it is made especially for male skin. After using the cleanser and/or scrub in the shower also use an alcohol based rub called `Isocol` (it comes in a green bottle with a picture of a cartoon crocodile from Priceline). it does sting when you put it on the first couple of times but is well worth it, as it get off all the dirt and oils off the skin, (i used to use it when I have constant breakouts and I don`t get them anymore). then use the Spot vanishing cream etc. It helped my partner (as long as he kept up with the regime ;P)

I would say it would be a very worthwhile pursuit to get a referral (from your GP) to go to a Skin Specialist who can cure the problem – male or female, skin specialists can work magic within months! Give it a go and you and he won`t regret it! Enjoy the results if you go through with it. : )

p.s. I am speaking from personal experience.
