A visit to your doctor will resolve the problem. Bear in mind it is possible to be pregnant and still have your period as 2 of sisters experienced the same one up to her 5th month the other her 3rd both were bed ridden for 2months and given the all clear and both children were born naturally and healthy.

I too have had 3 periods in the last month, except I have PCOS and Endometriosis so I am always having issues in that area, although this is the first time I have had this happen in particular. It is not much fun, so I feel your pain. I would definitely go get yourself checked out, get a pelvic ultrasound to start with and then go from there.

I agree you should get it checked out. It could just be stress, but it`s better to find out.

i used to get my periods regularly for a few months then they would stop for 2-6 months, i went to my doc and was told that i have pcos (polycysic ovary syndrome)
dewdrop it`s not normal to have unregular periods like that escpeically when you`ve had them for 15+years i think you should get it checked out, i am glad i did -

Happened to me before i was on the pill. Love the newfound regularity.

Hi Fengari
I think the younger you are the easier it is to deal with lots of things – so my menopause hasn`t been too bad – in fact I`m welcoming it, as I have already had my children and I really don`t want any more of them now I am 39 anyhow. I understand that menopause is simply another natural phase in a woman`s lifespan and that is fine with me! My symptoms are not `bad` just natural and I think also because I am younger for menopause I can cope well emotionally and physically. So it really isn`t a problem – just a phase. I don`t look older for it – in fact people mistake me for a 29-30year old!! So something is working for me! (My mum got menopause at 38 too so it is genetic). -

Wow vanessa39! Menopause already! I didn`t know you could start menopause so young. Do younger women going through this have the same experiences (eg. hot flushes, moodiness) as older women?

Yes I have something similar to you and I know what mine is – I`ve been to the doc. For the last 1-2 years I`ve been getting mine twice a month and I`m 39. I have other symptoms like tender breasts in the middle of the month amongst other things. Though I am only 39 I have started menopause (actually it is called premenopause for six years until my periods stop altogether). You are a lot younger than me but I have heard of women starting menopause even younger than you. So maybe a quick visit to an experience female doctor would be a good thing to find out if this is what it is. Check out menopause symptoms on the net first to see if any ring a bell too.
