Oops, i should`ve mentioned this a while back. I went to Singapore and took a light moisturiser, mascara, lip gloss and loads of sunscreen. PawPaw ointment saved me soo many times, i would recommend it to any traveller. But ive been and come back already. Thanks for all the suggestions!

i too have pale skin, and i use invisible zing in LIGHT every day. if it`s still too dark you could mix it with a bit of pale foundation. works well. you can also use the cakey stuff in the lid as a concealer.

Tropical climate, are you going to the humid or to the dry areas? If it`s humid (like Singapore & Southern Thailand), take a VERY light moisturiser or skip it altogether as your skin will be producing more oils anyway. Personally, a translucent powder is a must. If you need some coverage you might want to consider mineral foundation. If it`s to the drier part (like Northern Thailand), bring heavier moisturiser.
For on the plane: take an all-in-one balm, the cabin air always dries out the skin. My fave is L`occitane`s shea butter, the one in a small round tin pot.
Another must have for me: water spritzer – Avian spray or you can buy a small spray on container (make sure it`s 100ml/less) and fill with water or rose water. Great to freshen up on the go especially when the weather is super hot and to keep your skin moisturised without the added oil.

I`d take my credit card, holidays are the best time to buy new stuff that makes you feel great. No seriously for skin care products I take all the stuff I have at home in mini containers – hols are no time to cut down on your routine, and makeup; absolutely everything because you are sure to get there and realize you have forgotten one of the most important things, if travelling with hubby, leave out a pair of his shoes to accommodate your makeup and put one less jacket in to accomodate your hair stuff. its not as if you have to fly with your bag on your back, take it all! and buy a good bag with wheels.

I`d take a good moisturiser and a bronzer. some mascara and eye liner and a lip gloss. A bright lipgloss which you could use as a blusher if you wanted to jazz up your look and remember to protect yourself from the sun, your skin wont be used to the type of sun and you may get burnt which wouldn`t be much fun on your holiday.
Have a wonderful time 🙂
