high school

i changed schools this year and i like it soo much better than my old school and try talking to people u maybe wouldnt usually talk too cause they can end up being your besties goodluck

It`s been many years since I was in high school (don`t want to mention how long- a bit in denial) but luckily in the two different hight schools I attended I did not face any problems. Sure I did not get along with everyone but I was not bullied. I think that changing schools is a great decision. It in a way it will give you a fresh start. I presume you have already started so I hope it is going well. What people said earlier on in the thread that when you look back it does not really matter that much is true. When you are in high school it seems like it will never end and it makes up your whole life. But once you leave and some time passes it feels like it was another life time ago. Best of luck in your new school and I hope that you find some great friends that appreciate you for the unique person that you are.

Yeah it sucked when I lost friendship with a number of my old besties becoz we either had fights or other girls stole them away from me (ugh) also i hated how once i made a new bestie, they`d change schools!! it happened quite a few times haha so now i dont really have a close bestie, but i do have a lot of girls who i trust and hang out with and i still call them my besties.
What also sucks is that my closest bestie goes to a different skl than me grr but i guess its actually good coz we have wayyy less fights (acgtually we never have any fights now) and we get reallyyy excited every time we get to see each other 🙂

Yeah Im friends with some of the Year 12s (went out with one actually) and they all said that one you get to Year 12 everyone`s friends with everyone and its all good 😀

I know what you mean Blissful.Asian. I never had any real closes friends. I went from one group of people to another so i never had the same friends all the way through high school.

In early high school there can be alot of bitching etc but by the time you reach grade 12 (senior yr) then everyone is so much more mature and you look at the lower grades and remember how childish you were. I dont think bullying will ever get better. So many young kids are commiting suicide because they just cant cope with it.

yeah i know what u mean its hard to find a bestie in high school ,but i think in year 11 kids finally start to grow up and uni is meant to be 10 times better than high school so just hang on b a

I am in Year 10 and I really don`t like school.

It`s not like I am bullied or anything, but I feel like I don`t have a really close friendship with anyone. I have friends of course, but not a BEST friend you know? Like someone who you can tell anything to and have the same sense of humour and fashion and music taste. Sometimes I feel kind of disconnected from everyone in my school, and im naturally an extremely shy person which makes it a lot worse.

Oh well! everytime i feel down i just remind myself that i only have 2 years left and ill probably make heaps more friends in uni 😀

I love my school. Regardless of the amount of work we get being in year 12, i love my friends and the teachers are amazing! I`m going to miss school wen i graduate at the end of the year.

Oh the internet and social networking sites definately have made bullying worse. I was bullied on the net during highschool – it was horrible. While going to an all girls school can be bitchy at times… it wasnt too bad for me. I mean at the time sometimes things were bad, but looking back highschool wasnt as bad as i thought it was at the time. Espeically senior – by then everyone starts to grow up alot. And once you graduate.. you learn who is really important in your life… and everyone who you ever hated or had troubles with… you wonder why you bothered to give them the time of day
