helpp (:models prefer mini ceramic hair straightener and moreee

hi guys i have naturally straight hair bordering fine/thin hair so ive never gotten into hair straighteners or stylers but recently i really wanted to try one out and was wondering what a good styler for curly hair a straightener which can also be used for styling in the market. I saw the models prefer mini one and its like only 12 $ so i was jus wandering if it was worth it or would it be better to invest into a better one becoz i still want a good one that i can use TY <3

I was considering getting the mini Model’s Prefer one as my first real straightener (because they do look pretty cute), but from my limited knowledge with straighteners, I heard that you should absolutely avoid metal straightening plates like the plague. Unfortunately most if not all of the Model’s Prefer straighteners still use metal plates which is why they’re so cheap.

I ended up getting a $30 VS Sassoon one with ceramic plates that has 3 heat settings (170, 200, and 230).

This is the one that I got from Priceline:

It’s really thin so you can use it to curl too.

Hi there, I’m the same have long, poker straight fine hair so never bought into the whole GHD thing and don’t know about the Models Prefer one however I do have a straightener and a travel straightener cos my hair does tend to kink and look untidy at the ends. The ones I have are both ceramic Remington ones from Priceline and I’m very happy with them. The large one was about $35 and the travel one around $20 I think and came in a little flowery travel pouch. They were so cheap but work great and have lasted quite a long time up to now, so just an alternative for you anyway 🙂
