Heeeeelp!

Can you please recommend a good skin care brand for my 18-year-old, seriously pimple prone, sometimes oily and very congested skin? I need a complete overhaul so a cleaner, toner, moisturiser, scrub and mask would be great. Thanks xxx

Clean and clear is pretty good and inexpensive, i`m using oil-free Neutrogena acne cleanser at the moment

I had pimple too. I am using Proactive and it did help a lot.

Also, I drink herbal detox tea twice a week to flush my system, that helped my complexion greatly.

As my family strongly believe diet plays a major role in how your complexion turns out

Ive never had acne myself but my husband has and he actually diluted methylated spirits and lots of water and put this on his face with a cotton bud (his was severe acne though) but it worked for him and also for his flat mate

    Hi Laura,
For quick and amazing results I recommend Dermalogica`s skin clearing face kit which i think is $65 and it contains Skin Clearing Wash, Clearing Mattifier, Day fluid, Overnight Clearing Gel and Concealing Spot Treatment. It works a treat and is so well priced.
For a scrub I recommend Dermalogica`s Skin Prep Scrub (use once weekly only) and for the masque I recommend Skin Refining Masque with Bentonate and Kaolin clays.
I hope this helps you, please keep in touch xx

def natuaral products, mineral makeup and spending some cash is better in the long term, and research. 🙂
oh and just a personal view, no clinique, sorry if some people like it, but i tried it and made my skin worse, have oily a spotty skin, and the cleanser can strip paint off the walls, so just be carefull.

Clean and clear does a good job, my friends use it and they always have good comments on it

use neutrogena oil acne wash. it works ok for me plus it can be a bit drying which is good in a way coz i rather have dry skin n use the moisturiser afterwards rather than having super oily skin. or u can use cetaphil cleanser the one for oily skin and use benzac topical cream after. start with either 2.5% or 5%. i used it before and it works great but it may burn your skin for a bit (my face turns a bit red lol but the acne is gone 🙂

Dermalogica now have an adult acne range – I keep harping on about it because it`s bloody fantastic & it really works!!!! Just get some samples to try at least, you`ll be really impressed, I promise!

I agree with Beautyjunkie- Benzac is really good.My older brothers both suffered from acne, they got this and their skin cleared up incredibly, their skin is as clear as mine now (sometimes clearer, damn them!). My sister-in-law uses all the products from Biore, as its cheap, and she loves it. She used to use expensive brands, but when she married my brother and became a student, she switched to Biore.
