Heated Eyelash Curler
I am interested in purchasing a heated eyelash curler, which brands do you find most effective, and would you recommend them over regular metal eyelash curlers?

that is correct southcoast it comes with a cleaning brush so if you notice after a while you use it and you get all this crumbley fall outs use the brush to clean the heated eyelash curler and it’s good to go again! here is (follow the link below) what the product looks like if you need a picture reference 🙂
Thanks! This post is fairly old so I hope the 1000 hour lash curler is still out!

I heat my regular (analog) curler under hot water and it’s the first thing I do after foundation. It works a treat. Slap on some mascara and I’m good to go!

Heated eyelash curler takes really long since they have no pressure on your lashes to make them curl. I reccomend your better off with a normal eyelash curler, the tip is you can always heat the actual curler with a hairdryer and curl them. Be careful! too hot and it’s no good!
This is so true! I have a heated curler – it works ok… more of a “natural” sort of curl, just a subtle way of making your eyes look more open. Normal curler is so much better and quicker. Quick blow of the curler with a hairdryer and you get a longer lasting curl in your eyelashes (good for humid areas or if you get caught in some rain). Have to be careful though – too hot = ouch and a really angled/unnatural crimp to your eyelashes!! (sometimes a sign that you need a new bit of rubber in the curler too!!)
But heated curler definitely a must for anyone who likes the novelty factor of trying something new, or if you find normal curlers tend to “pull” the hair too much

Sorry, had to bump this up, has anyone tried the Mirenesse double heated lash curler? It looks pretty nifty.
This is the product I’m talking about. http://www.mirenesse.com/catalogue/c356/p3539

Yes, of course. I don’t live near a K-mart, but when I’m next in, I’ll keeping my eye out for it. I really like the way it curled your lashes. I’ve had my eye lashes permed before and loved the way they looked. I’ve moved out of the city and I can’t find anyone near that does it so I’ve been on the look for an alternative.

hmmm i’m assuming when you said holes you meant the head of the eyelash curler area ….. and if this is correct yes you just use it as a normal brush to brush through your lashes but remember don’t just brush through them with one quick swift action… the trick is to start at the base of your lashes pause there for 10 seconds then brush through to the mid part of your lashes then pause there for another 10 seconds then go to the ends of your lashes leave it there for 10 seconds and your eyelashes should be in a curl just like the picture above! hope this helps?
