Has anybody tried Avril Lavigne’s perfumes?

I own both, they are both equally nice and I wear either/or every day, they compliment a sweet smelling deodrant I find.

Black Star is nice, but Forbidden Rose is much, much better. Prefer the shape of the bottle of FR too.

I have been using Black Star for a while and I have to agree that it isn’t what I expected from Avril, it is a girlie scent but not one of those overly floral girlie ones. I am yet to smell her new one though.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried either of Avril Lavigne’s perfumes. There are 2, the pink one called “Black Star” or the purple one called “Forbidden Rose”. I noticed them in her film clip for one of her songs and considered buying one. Would love to hear anyone’s experience with these perfumes as I’m yet to test them out! 🙂

I have not tried any of Avril’s perfumes. I try and steer away from celebrities perfumes, some of them are just gross. (not saying Avril’s are)

Thanks jessticle and Pud! I went in to Myer and tested out Black Star and it is actually really pretty and sweet! I definitely agree that it’s not what you would expect from Avril’s style. I think I will end up purchasing this one! I had a sniff of Forbidden Rose as well… I’m not exactly impressed with it… Doesn’t smell like anything ground breaking. Black Star is definitely lovely though 🙂

I too have tried “Black Star” but not “Forbidden Rose” which is the newer one. Black star is very nice, quite sweet and not really what i’d expect from avril’s style but I recommend you go to Myer or DJ’s and check it out 🙂
