hair help

Ive been bleaching my hair for years. But recently coloured it brown, then got bored and bleached my hair back to blonde again. It is severely damaged. Like jelly. It holds all the hair in, and takes days to dry. I spent $50 bucks on hair products today and I have everything. I just need some practical advice on how to make my hair healthier again? My hair is falling out too! ahhhh… please help girls?

I think u need intensive protein and moisture treatments. I’ve read really good stuff about Aphogee 2 Step Protein treatment which is why I was tempted. It sounds like it will suit u but I’m not sure about me. Also do a lot of hot oil treatments like coconut oil which is excellent for ur hair’s health.

Thanks guys. Zompea – I use a foam conditioner cause its non greasy (mostly on the ends). Thanks to you too JayeKaye and melmeko, I’ll try to look for it in earnest tomorrow! I find long hair a pain in the butt with the fuss you’ve got to go to!!

The member who recommended the anti snap to me was Elmo and she has the blondest hair I know of, hehe, and she swears by it, as do I 🙂

MissKrispy, I have the same sort of hair as you and ive used Anti-snap in the past and it hasnt weighed it down at all, so should be fine 🙂

Hi MissKrispy, I haven’t tried Redken Anti-Snap, but do you apply conditioner to your whole head? My tip would be just to use it on the ponytail section of your hair so your roots won’t get greasy

Hey guys, would you recommend anti snap for someone with fine blond hair? The reason I ask is that many products weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. I checked the Redkin website and it didn’t give any clues.

thanks Melmeko, will have to get some. And Elmo, yes, that all sounds like a great idea. I went to hairdresser today infact and got a little cut. I used to take those vitamins, I will have to start taking them again, thanks 🙂

Sounds like you might have too many products going on darl. Too much isn’t a good thing either. Something you should look into investing is some Redken Anti-Snap which helps repair and prevent hair breakage 🙂

Strawberries I would say that you need to either get yourself to a hairdresser and have a serious treatment, you may also have to have your extensions taken out as they don’t help hair health. Either that or go to Hairhouse Warehouse or Price Attack and get some salon strength products – I don’t believe Pantene etc are going to cut it if your hair is so damaged that it’s falling out. Maybe also look into taking some skin, hair and nail vitamins? I think Blackmores do these?

I got pantente shampoo and condition, plus the little treatments that come in a pack of three. I also got one from schwarzkoft for thinning, fragile hair. I got a palmolive leave in conditioner. I got John frieda frizz-ease heat protective spray and the loreal elvive anti-breakage conditioning repair spray. I have got alot of products, I used to work at priceline and just obsessed with this stuff haha.
Bluerose, My hair is breaking off, but if I touch it, its just falling off from the ends. So much hair is in my brush. I have extensions too.
