Hair Extensions

Hi,
I want hair extensions but can’t really afford to do any more damage to my hair, I have had mirco loop extensions before and they ruined my hair and made heaps snap off.

Are there any types of extensions that don’t damage hair, don’t need to be tightened every 2 weeks and last like 6 months..

What are the best type of extensions? Where is good to get them in QLD, and what price would I be looking at?

I agree clip in are the best, especially if you are like me and suffer from headaches.

Clip-ins are the way to go as they won’t damage your hair and you can take them in and out at will. I buy mine from Harmony Hair Extensions: http://www.harmonyhairextensions.com.au . They sell 24 inch 100% Remy Human Hair full head sets for under $150 ad they are GREAT quality. They’re also based in QLD. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping with clip-ins in though as this wouldn’t be good for your hair or the extensions. If you take good care of your clip-ins they should last you around 12 months (mine do)!

i’ve always preferred clip ins becuase they seem to do less damage when used properly beside my hair is a good length so i love the option of having my hair at different lengths. if your hair is breaking though it’s probably best to give it a break for a while especially if you colour of bleach it.

I have clip in hair extentions, they are good! i could sleep in them without them being uncomfortable, I did have to tighten them everyday which was a bit of a pain…but worth it 🙂
I bought my extentions off Ebay for only $80, real human hair they were 20 inches long!
    Very Happy with them

any weave is going to have to have be retightened every 6 weeks or so depending on the kind of hair you have. there are some where your hair is put in cornrows and over that they place a net, and it’s this net that they bond the hair to. I have no idea where in QLD you can get this done and it’s probably still damaging for your hair.

The least damaging ones are clip-ins. Maybe you can find a hairstyle that suits the hair you have?

I’m fairly certain all hair extensions that are actually bonded to your hair (regardless of the method used) will eventually be damaging to your hair. Clip in ones are the safest way to go!
