I also want clip in hair extensions, but just hate the idea of wearing real human hair even if it looks great. Basically poor people in India sell their hair to textile companies and then it ends up on our heads…it just feels a little bit too…Marie Antoinette “let them eat cake” to me…

forgot to add you cant dye and heat synthetic, some you can heat to a certain degree but I really wouldn’t recommend it.

Hi PG, I use the clip in hair extensions by Gloss. You can curl, straighten and color the hair because it is human hair. The only thing is, its very expensive so wait till it goes on sale on ozsale.com.au. They are normally 400 dollars but vani-t had them for sale on ozsale for 89.00. I bought my first box and loved it so much that bought a second box when it came out on sale again. Excellent quality, beautiful feel and the clips are strong as well. I have heard bad things about how they aquire human hair. I don’t think that I would want that on my conscience. Not really gross stuff just that the women and girls in third world countries sell their “virgin” hair for a pittence so we can look beautiful for one day. Go synthetic, who will know, it’s only for one day. I’m sure you will look beautiful. Everybody loves a bride!!!!!!

Can anyone shed some light for me?

I would like some fake hair extensions – so the ones that clip into your hair for my upcoming engagement party.

I want ones that I can clip into my hair, dye and also curl myself. If I want to curl them does that mean synthetic are out, as I would wreck them?

Also where is the best / cheapest place to buy / brand etc everyone recons?
