Good Dermatologists in Brisbane

Hey guys, I wasn’t sure where to put this topic but here it is…

I need to know if anyone knows any good Dermatologists in Brisbane. I mean appointments and treatments cost a fortune so I don’t won’t to waste my money. I have a dark area around my mouth – developed last year and no matter what I try it doesn’t seem to go away permanently and to make matters worse, my skin is sensitive so it rejects anything harsh that might work…

Thanks in advance guys….
P.S – If you know any good products can you list them

My advice is to wait to see a great dermatologist, rather than taking the next available appointment. My doctor gave me a referral to her preferred derm but the wait was a few months so they offered me an appt with another derm from their clinic. It was a total waste of nearly $300. I spent most of the appt with a nurse. The dermatologist told me she recommended surgery for my acne scars but wanted to talk to a senior surgeon to get his opinion. then I received a letter in the mail asking me to call and make an appt for the surgery! No one had given me any information on this surgery or allowed me to ask questions. I never did all to make that appt! I am now going back to my doctor to get the referral again.

Chocolate I would be seeing a GP about this before going to a dermatologist. I`m sure that everything is fine and that a dermatologist could definetely help but to be on the safe side I would see your local GP. From memory there are some great dermatologists in the Indooroopilly and Toowong areas, not sure about what they charge though.

it sounds hormonal chocolatelygoodness…………………………..or is it CHOCOLATE and you need a new cleanser???? hehe
    .
depends where you are, my hubby sees Dr Pagliaro at clayfield but i`m not sure if he just does skin cancer? there is also a clinic that another specialist recommended to me at Paddington. I think it`s called Paddington Dermatology.
    .
also check with your GP or see a naturopath, they may be able to tell you if it`s hormonal.
    hope that helps?
