I think Gordon only says what we are thinking. really if i walked into some of those kitchens and found the filth he does i`d probably give him a run for his money on the swearing. I love the show, it`s a real eye opener.
at least he seems to practice what he preaches.

I love the Aussie show too, gem, it`s great – but it`s so different to Gordon Ramsey`s version.

I saw that one the other night GG, it was shocking – I couldn`t watch for some of it, with the rat droppings and rotten meat, and cockroaches everywhere. It was so terrible. And wasn`t it amazing how pristine and perfect his kitchen was when he took them to his restaurant down the road? I loved that, it was beautiful. I`d love to be a chef sigh

I use to waitress and I was a kitchen hand too, my Hubby use to be a chef too (thats how we met) and kitchens are such stressful environments. Personally I never had a problem with any chefs, but I have seen them in action when it`s been directed at somebody else. Interestingly when I waitressed at Anthony Caella`s families old restaurant (in Yarraville, Melbourne) the waiters use to yell at the chefs! So funny.

I used to waitress in a few resturants and YES…chefs do swear and blame others for their frustrations…and the staff are always in their firing line too..thank godness it was never me…but it was a real eye opener and I dont think I`d like to work in that industry again.

glitter girl its true most chefs swear i was supposed to do a chefs apprenticeship and they swore at me so much in the end i said shuv your jobb im not a peice of S**t
