Apparently garlic is really great too, I read somewhere if you make it into a paste, it is really helpful as it has many antibacterial properties.

Intersting replys thanks everyone, I think the Pevaryl Foaming Solution sounds like the go coz it is a rather large area and creams just dont last long enough.

I found another section on the website that said this:
In the case of white spots, the white color remains even after the infection has been successfully treated. However, this will gradually fade as the skin recovers its normal colouring.
Perhaps this is why she says that the Daktarin hasn`t been working?

This is a fungal infection, I just can`t remember what the name of it is. I looked it up on the internet and found this:
    What is “”White Spot?””
“”White spot”” or “”panau”” is a superficial fungal infection of the skin which is common in children and adults. It may be itchy. It is made up of fine scaly white patches on the skin. It may appear on your face, neck, shoulders, arms, trunk or legs. These spots are active fungi infecting your skin. The medical name is Pityriasis versicolor.
She should definitely see the doctor, and continue with the Daktarin. It is a very good fungal cream, but it does take a while to show that it`s working. Tell her not to stop as soon as it looks like it has gone. She will need to keep going with the Daktarin for at least a week after it has cleared up to stop it from coming back. She could also swab it with tea tree oil twice a day to give it a double dose, tea tree is a strong anti fungal treatment. If she combines both it should clear up very fast.
    Hope this helps!
    xx
