i think maybelline pure is good too, and if you`re woried about looking too matte and artificial then mix your foundation with a bit of sunscreen.

I find powder formulas just clog my skin and make breakouts worse… the worst thing I can put on my skin is MAC Studio Fix – that is a recipe for instant acne and I`ve read reviews on makeupalley where just about everyone else says the same thing… For this type of skin I would recommend something from Estee Lauder or go to Mecca and get them to try some Prescriptives Virtual Matte (awesome! this actually cleared my skin right up when I started using it), once your skin settles down try Prescriptives Flawless Skin… I find the girls at Mecca really helpful and they are always happy to help out with samples…

i have the same skin as yours. Definately shop around, try on different makeup but becareful because once i asked the Clinque ladies for a dewy finish foundation and i bought it but it made my face seem a bit oily and yucky in the end. Powder formulas can be good but thats more matte 🙁

I used to have the same problem as you before I started using Bare Escentuals Mineral Makeup. Its actually a foundation in powder form and helps with acne its a makeup that performs like a skincare treatment. I`m from Canada and mineral makeup is huge over there as well as the States. I`ve noticed that OZ is just starting to introduce mineral makeup here which is a shame cause its been around for awhile in North America. Anyways, you might want to google it to find out where in OZ they sell it I stock up on the product when ever I go home to visit. This is the best thing out there I guarantee it. My skin is amazing.

my skin sounds similar to yours, and the best foundation i`ve ever had is estee lauder ideal matte. go to a pharmacy or beauty store and ask the ladies at the counter to help you out 🙂 good luck!

If you want something cheap, Maybelline Pure is really nice.
