Fitness

Hi All,
I was just wondering what everyones fitness regime is or how you all keep in shape? I go to the gym – but do group classes…
Monday night I do a step class, Tuesday morning I do a cycle class, Thursday night I do a body attack class and then a pump class, Friday morning I do a cycle class and then Saturday morning I do a body attack class and then a pump class. It is a lot of work but I am really trying so hard to get into good shape for summer.

oh amyj carmen oohing and aahing through the workout would be a drawback.. lol! but it sounds really good apart from that. lip gloss addict you sound very fit and also very organised! yoga is so fun i hope you enjoy it if you try, it is actually quite challenging . some of the moves really take concentration and hard workbut it achieves really good results.

My fitness regime is as follows: 1 – 1.5 hour weights session 2 – 3 times per week
    2 x 10km runs
    1 – 2 x 5km runs
1 game of netball most weeks

I need to do some yoga/pilates or something as well, as I can run for ages and I`m not too bad @ weights but ask me to touch my toes and I doubt it would happen lol. I just find all that stretching stuff so boring!

Fitness regime? I don`t have one at the moment. Since I stopped belly dancing a few months ago, it`s just work, work, work.

I wear a “”bella bodies”” shaper a lot of the time!

I dance at every given opportunity like when I`m doing a marathon 70hr work week, yoga, pilates, belly dancing, walk the beach, surfski and when it takes my fancy pump iron loove it!

You know what else works wonders?…The Carmen Electra fit to strip DVD`s…actually only the 2nd one is really any good.
Feels easy, killer muscle pain two days after…it`s really great…as long as you can stand to listen to bloody Carmen ooh and aah through your whole workout.

I joined the Fernwood gym a couple of months ago. I haven`t tried any classes as yet however I`d like to try a yoga/pilates class or a spin class and maybe a bellydancing class just for fun. I do about 40 minutes cardio and then another 20 minutes on weight resistence. I try to go walking when I can too and like to take a 40 minute walk around the neighbourhood.

I exercise every morning (5.30am start weekdays and 6.30am start on weekends). I usually run 5kms on the treadmill with some walking uphill afterwards. Sometimes I mix it up with swimming and the cross trainer. I also do some light weights and sit ups about 3-4 times a week.

So excited! My mum in law just told me I can have her cross trainer as she doesn`t use it, time to mix up the running now!
I did one on one pilates when I had a back injury years ago and it was fantastic, did great things for my back and even better things for my muscles.

haha i feel heaps slack to reading this! LOl. i try to go for a walk 3-4 times a week for half an hour. and every day i do ten minutes of leg work, followed by a twenty minute yoga workout. i also do weights with my arms a few times a week, but so far can only lift 2kg for each arm hehe.
