Favourite Indie makeup brands?

Can’t wait for my lucy minerals order, got some eyeshadows and a blush.. Hopefully I don’t have to wait too long!

Shiro Cosmetics are one of my favourites as well as Scardy Cat Cosmetics, I know that Shiro now have their own website, but I am pretty sure that Scardy Cat still sell on Etsy. I hope Im not way off with Scardy Cat, I havent placed an order in a while.

The EM roller ball packaging it soooo terrible. I can’t seem to use them properly. I am thinking of pulling off the lids and tapping it out :/ When I roll them on my lid they make a mess. When I roll them on my hand then use the brush, nothing attaches to the brush as the eyeshadow is already stuck to my hand!!

Never ever buy the roller ball ones from EM again.

I just bought some fyrinnae eyeshadows and the pixie epoxy

i cant really add any new brands to the ones already mentioned, TSS and Aromaleigh which have both shut down

Fryinnae for awesome sparkly shadows, and their pixie epoxy, love Hi-Fi minerals, Everyday minerals, good sizes reasonable prices ( but their samples now come in rollerball packaging, don’t know how good that is), Lucy minerals, the all natural face – great value packs. Meow has gorgeous shadows but can be exxy and silk nautrals has samples and often dupes of famous big name brand colours that have been discontinued.

Ahh now I get it, lol. Well in that case in my opinion is these brands are pretty much the only companies that sell REAL natural mineral makeup anyway. All the commercial stuff is not natural and it often has so very little actual minerals in it and is made up of other crap anyway I steer clear of it to be honest. If I use commercial makeup I generally know what I am getting and I buy it because either I like the product or it his a good quality or has superb staying power. If I want mineral makeup these days I want the read deal, any brand can slap mineral on their packaging and call it mineral, but is it mineral?? I still love Lucy Minerals very good and fantastic pricing, plus still using many of the EDM products I own as well 🙂

BUT Recently I made an order in October. Never showed up. Contacted her, no reply… nothing.. Not impressed at all 🙁 Still no shadows… Pretty sure I wont see my money either.

Chrissy, that is too bad. If you have paid through PayPal you could open a dispute. Would it be too late now?

I have a feeling its too late to open a dispuite 🙁 After all Oct was a good 5 months ago now.

Archetype are usually very very slow anyways (good 5 weeks usually) and I knew that when I ordered… adn considering it was coming up to the holiday season, I expected it to take a lil longer.

I had some things going on in Jan and completely forgot about it… and when I remembered (last month), I contacted her.. and nothing. It’s just frustrating. How hard is it to reply to an email?!

I also want to try All Natural Face and so many that Scent has mentioned!

Seriously, you MUST try HiFi, DG, once they open…….you won’t be disappointed!!
Next I want to try Darling Girl Cosmetics, the swatches I’ve seen are fantastic.
Oh, there’s so many, tho, I am running out of storage space, LOL
