Word of advice with the gladiator flats – go for ones with low, skinny ankle straps. Unless you have super long, slim legs (which I sure as hell don`t!) – if you have chunky straps around your ankles it`ll make your legs look short and chunky – that was my rule when I was searching for the perfect pair! Also a pair in tan or similar light colour is also more flattering than black.

Oh and gladiator flats look hot with a girly dress to offset it so you won`t look punk! 🙂

Alexarose2510 & Elmo thanks 4 ur supporting words & inspiration. Body image is such an icky topic & It really does help 2 have supportive feedback when getting back out there & getting back in touch with fashion & feeling good about yourself. Often it`s the little words of advice & support along the way that help keep us going & give the strength to try something new! I have 2 agree that i`m liking the stud trend atm also. I have a handbag with some (not too OTT) & wouldn`t mind some gladiators 4 summer also, just got to get out shopping & see whats about. Don`t think studs on my clothes would work 4 me, unless they can be softened up 2 look a little more feminine… A few r o.k a lot are a little 2 punk 4 me at my age i just don`t think i `d pull it off so well!

I must get those gladiator sandals you are talking about. Also love the Mexican Motif tops and skirts, so cute and feminine. Makes me feel like heading down to the beach or going on a mexican holiday 🙂

I love the feeling of buying something new and how you just hold out until you find the perfect oppurtunity to wear them out and flaunt them to everyone LOL. Really pays off then especially when they get complimented 🙂

I love the studs trend – my new gladiator sandals have studs on them – sooo hot! Just can`t wait to wear them (the weather on the weekends has been crappy since I bought them! 🙁 )

My style is actually not really one style. I mix and match and change my style so often! Some days i will be really girly, others i wil dress down and be casual. Some days i love dressing in really bohemian hippy type clothing or other days i will wear something reall chic and smartt. I love having an ever evolving wardrobe though, wouldnt change it!

My fashion style is really dressed up and fun. I recon i have great taste lol hahaa 😉 I really like blending dark colours together for outfits.
