False Eyelashes?

What are the simple steps to applying false eyelashes, and what ones are the best on the market?

Inglot also has really nice sets/individuals for about $10-$20. I bought a set once about an hour before an event i was going to, the lady there offered to put them on for me and do my eye makeup too! [free of charge of course 😉 ]

You don`t neccesarily need tweezers. I really struggle to apply them with tweezers and have more luck with my fingers.

I find it easiest to have my eye half open as this way you can still see and get it closer to the lash line, because if you`re like me I have some excess skin on my eyelids that make my lids look like sharpeis when they`re closed. So half open, they`re tighter!

Get some good glue – Duo or Ardell.

I always use the individual ones, they look quite natural but still very nice. Duo glue is the absolute best glue, you can order it from MAC online or buy it in the MAC pro shops. 🙂

Thanks Mariesa, do you have to cut strips to size? I`m so keen to apply these myself, I`ve always had a make up artist do it for me.

i`ve heard the “”red cherry”” brand lashes are good. a lot of the youtube beauty gurus recommend them (i think). i think u can buy them online as well, not sure where though….probably try ebay

you can use 2 types strip and individual. the individual ones look more natural and the strip is more dramatic. you need tweezers and a good eyelash glue. the trick is to put the glue on a small plate and wait for it to become tacky before applying (and don`t use too much).individual lashes attach to your own lashes at the base and strip along the lash line.once you apply them don`t touch for 5 min and apply the lashes last after make-up. hope that helps 🙂
