Exchanging Products at Priceline

Hi dolls,
I recently received some products from a friend who said they were purchased from Priceline (Manicare, Playboy and Revlon) and I was wondering if Priceline allow exchanges without receipts?
Your knowledge would be much appreciated xx

i am more than 100% certain that you can exchange stuff at priceline without a receipt!! ive done it like over 5 times i swear!! as long as they have that product in store they will exchange it without a problem (:

btw.. people used to do it all the time with wedding gifts.. they`d load them all in a trolley and go round to each of the stores gathering vouchers for whatever scanned at kmart/big w/ target etc.. i`m SO doing that if i get married!

    here`s another idea.

if it`s a product that a Kmart offers, take it back there! I worked there for years and they had a policy that they would take back anything without a receipt as long as it scans in their register.. they just give you a red `exchange` voucher without question.

I dont think they would as normally they require proof of purchase (as you could have brought those products at any general department store)…
But in the end it all depends on the person and if they are willing to let you return them as I know that some people to break the rules every now and then but in general I wouldnt think they would allow you to return a product without having a proof of purchase from that particular store

Can I suggest you girls check with Consumer affairs in your state as to your rights in regard to returns. I have had experiences where they have said no and when I started mentioning consumer affairs and the law they backed down a lightening speed. I know a lot of states you can`t exchange because you have changed your mine, but if it is faulty, off or doesn`t do what it should you have a very good case.

There seems to be variation in response to exchanging items from store to store with Priceline. Annabelle80, not sure if you you are located in an area with more than one Priceline store within reach, but if you are maybe you could try to return/exchange it at a different Priceline store? Or maybe consider calling their Customer Service Centre on 1300 88 44 11 or email them about it (details on their website).

that`s really bad annabelle80, if it was still brand new in the box and unused, and you still had the receipt with you, then i don`t see how they could not (or would not) let you exchange it.

I found priceline to be an absolute joke when it comes to exchanging – I had a receipt and everything for a breast pump I bought that I couldn`t use brand new in the box – it was over 100 buck and they just palmed me off to the manufacturers who palmed me off saying they wouldn`t exchange – I was pretty disappointed with Priceline to say the least esp as I had just had a baby so was a little fragile!

The 2 Priceline near me are annoying. They don`t accept returns without receipt whatsoever. As if they always give out receipts. That`s why I always insist on getting my receipts, even when they say their printer is having a bad day. Otherwise I can`t do exchange.
