#1 haircare essential?

Living in an area with really hard water means I have to use a clarifying shampoo regularly, I use Olaplex 4C clarifying shampoo.

I’m with you on the John Frieda purple conditioner! 💜 I’m blonde too and absolutely hate when my hair starts pulling too warm or coppery, so it’s a must-have for keeping my colour cool and fresh!

Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Masque

I love a shampoo that always gets dissed by others: TRESemmé Cleanse & Replenish Shampoo

It’s great for my greasy hair & my hair doesn’t get used to it, as it does with other shampoos that clean well at the beginning of the bottle but are less effective the further I work my way down.

Also, a big shout-out for Kmart gym towels: they’re made of the same microfibre as expensive hair towels, but they’re a little larger, which was great when my hair was longer, as my wet ends didn’t poke out when I made a turban – they’re also CHEAP! My hair dries much faster than even my thickest bath towels.

I have been using the Thanks to Nature Glam Glaze Miracle Spray for well over a year now and absolutely great for my hair to then blow dry and straighten it. Actually Thanks to Nature have some lovely products.

So, thirdly, to answer your question… I am a big fan of Shea Moisture. I was lucky several years ago to get on a BH trial for the Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil shampoo, conditioner and mask and more recently on the Shea Moisture Bond Repair Bonding Oil. They were all really good but my holy grail is the Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Masque. It smells delicious and works so well on my very dry frizzy curly hair. I hope to work my way through all their products at some point.
