Derma Intensive Range from Coles

I have recently bought the Derma Intensive Range from Coles and thaught id give this a go. I have been using the Derma eyecream, night cream and day cream, $4.99 each and i swear i have noticed a difference in my skin, feels smoother, looks younger and has minimised fine lines, i have been using really expensive skincare before this and started on this as my sister got me onto it as she just adores this product line, i tried the facial wipes and didnt like them, for something so cheap, wow, they work so well. Has anyone else tried them?

I’ve been using some of these products and I have to say that I’m very impressed with it – quality against cost. The anti-aging serum works really well – and has the same high level ingredients as more expensive brands. I also like the night cream (it’s very rich) and the renew oil which I’ve slathered on throughout a long plane ride recently (my skin is really dry).

By the way, it seems like they are trying to get rid of the Derma products at Coles now as they’re “Reduced to Clear” at $5 each (excluding the wipes which are still $2).

I also think they’re reducing their stock of this line since they have the new Dr Lewins line (which is only available in Coles). I haven’t seen anyone buy anything by this brand in ages.

And that’s scary that they’re made in China since the main ingredient in most of these products is water. I don’t like the idea of putting polluted Chinese water on my skin, yuck! Even if it does claim to have “imported ingredients” I always question where the ingredients really come from.

My sister bought home a packet of their makeup wipes and told me she got them for only $2. I looked on the back and said ‘made in china’. I cringed. Not a range I’m interested in as I try to avoid products like make-up and skin care from china. China will use the cheapest ingredients available to make products.

I’ve spent so many hours over the past few days, googling organic skincare. There are so many new and great brands out there. I think in the future, these brands will take over and the gimmicky brands with all the bad stuff will fade away.
I hope I didn’t sound too harsh in the above post, I just believe that you get what you pay for.
