CURLING LONG HAIR

hi
‘ve been growing my hair for the last 5 years. well i can say that it touches my backside now 🙂
i always use my silver bullet to straighten it. but recently i’ve purchased VS BIG CURLS iNSTANT HEAT HAIRSETTER with 12 rolls.
the problem is everytime i try to use them it doesnt work. it only curls the ends which i dont want. i want big waves from the roots to the ends.
what do you suggest i should do?

A medium sized curling tong – around 25mm would give great curl to begin with but it is going to drop alot with the weight of all that hair so the roots will be a little straighter than the ends. You will find the 25mm a little too curly to begin with but within 30mins it will have dropped. Its best to try these things when you arent going somewhere important and have the time to play around. A good setting spray spritzed onto each section before tonging will help to keep the curl longer and protect the hair from the heat of the tong. Wella crystal styler is nice….not too firm. Then when finished give a good dose of hairspray.
