I agree with what people say here against credit cards to a certain extent, however if you do get your spending under control (which I pretty much have – I pay everything off within a month) – they can be great for rewards. Ie like I mentioned previously in this thread, I have the Myer Visa card – and I use it to pay for EVERYTHING – but I pay it off straight away as well. So I get charged no interest, as I pay it off before interest accrues, and my reward is every 3 months I receive at minimum a $60 myer voucher! The more I charge to the card, the higher the voucher value – and it`s just fantastic! Can always buy something at myer, whether it be clothes or makeup, skincare etc. It is honestly the best decision I ever made – I`m really benefiting from it, and if you can keep your spending under control – you can work the credit card system to your advantage.

I think when you actually hand money over in cash it seems to be a lot more. I`d rather not use a card either.

I`m against credit cards. I believe that if you don`t have the money in your hand, you shouldn`t spend it. I don`t have everything I`d like but I can happily say that I`m not in debt.
