I`d like to try a foundation from Couleur Caramel, but because I have pale skin, I`m hesitant to try (they have a few different ones). Many foundations look too beige or orange on my skin. I always buy the palest foundation in a range. Has anyone with pale skin used foundations from this brand?
I used to use it and this was my problem too! Its a french brand and their skin is more olive than ours. Even the pale ones. I found that it the lightest one gave a bit of a orange hue to my skin that looked a bit odd. I then decided to get a light tan and try again haha! and that worked… I no longer use it as I found it hard to track down. Hopefully you have better luck!
The conceal or was perfect for me though…so maybe you could mix the two?
Miss_Bella_Boo, thanks for your feedback. I only wanted to try this brand as I`m horrified at all the chemicals that most foundations contain, and the natural foundations in the health food store don`t give enough coverage. I tried the concealer in Couleur Caramel in shade 09 and it was too dark, but I`m not sure if that was the palest shade. It doesn`t matter, because I`m going to be trying some different mineral powder foundations in the coming months.

These are my first impressions because I only got these recently, these aren`t final but just what I think so far.
eyeshadows; have very nice pigment but do contain talc
concealer; I got the lightest shades and it`s too yellow for me but I will give it another go but it does seem to go on a little on the dry side but to be fair I haven`t given it a proper go yet.
lip liners/ eyeliners; are crap to be honest they are so hard and the colour looks nothing like on their wesbite. If you find the right colour then you could get away with using them as a lip liner but I wasn`t impressed with the colours.
eyebrow pencil; I got it in blonde and it`s a nice colour the brush on the end is ridiculously hard- not soft at all, it`s an ok product I`ve only used it once so far. -

the website is http://www.couleurcaramel.co.nz
My sister purchased an eyeshadow and its gorgeous. She got a vivid purple colour and it goes on almost creamy (but not `wet`) and `dries` to such a silky smooth powder type finish. And it lasts and lasts and the colour looks amazing and they blend beautifully – and I only used my fingertips to try it and the application was perfect!
I think I made a mistake – I don`t think it`s mineral based but it is 100% natural and it`s also an organic range. There is 156 products in the range. I think the eyeshadow was $20. It`s available from health food stores. The packaging is recycled and recyclable, they use fair trade products and of course not tested on cute fluffy bunnies.
So I will hunt down this range myself and buy some – and I`ll let you all know what the rest of it is like. -
