I was at DJs buying Estee Lauder foundation and makeup remover to replace the ones I`ve almost used up, and I asked about a brush cleaner because the Inglot one I bought a while ago won`t budge EL Double Wear from my foundation brush.
The girl`s response was to send me to the Clinique counter because “”it`s like a sister company of Estee Lauder””, so that`s another one of Estee Lauder`s companies. Apparently they have an Estee Lauder brush cleaner but it`s for in-store use only. They`re not allowed to sell it! I bought the Clinique cleaner and the woman said “”It should remove double wear okay. Let me know how you go.””
Funny thing is that I was in “”boy mode”” due to lack of time, and had no problem with sales assistants at Priceline, Inglot and Estee Lauder and Clinique at DJs who all knew that I was buying for myself but the checkout chick at K-Mart looked at me funny when I bought a lipcolour for my partner and 2 different colours of lashblast on a “”buy 2 get the 3rd free”” deal with no idea who they were for. 🙂
I used to use concealer all the time but since I`ve been using the Estee Lauder foundation, I use a light touch of green Avon corrector but no concealer. I guess I just apply the foundation a bit heavier to compensate, but with the makeup primer, green colour corrector and foundation, it seems to go on fairly smoothly and doesn`t look heavy.
