Ooh!
Always wanted to try these, I bought some years ago and then didn`t put them in!!! 😀 I was warned they do damage your eyes.
I think the idea is so pretty, but the effecting eyes part makes me think this is a huge pass! 🙂

I would recommend going to an optometrist if you`re really worried or new to this. They`re your eyes and you don`t want to take any chances! Anywho, I wear prescription contacts and I`ve thought about getting coloured contacts. They would be fun!

In France I payed 30Euros for 30 day contact which would be about $50, although I wore them for a bit longer then I was meant to :p. This price included a tutorial on how to put them in, plus the solution and case for them.
I loved them and people always commented how crazy it was to see me with different coloured eyes.
Would reccomend going to a professional, it`s your eyes after all !That`s true. I would always go to an optical store and trial them first. I don`t trust websites that sell contacts.

I have prescription coloured lens and also clear. The coloured ones are fresh look in green and the clear ones are J&J. I love my coloured ones to death ! However the clear ones are much more comfy for work so i tend to wear my green ones on the weekend now, whereas i wore them everyday before. Never had any problems with them, people always compliment me when i wear them, and they look natural on me =) only wish i had naturally green eys !

I have dozens of pairs of coloured contacts and I can honestly say I`ve never had a problem with my eyesight and I wear them on a regular basis for things and if it`s just to do shoots of my latest freaky make up look I sometimes leave them in all day and it not bother myself or my eyesight what so ever. I`ve found crazycontacts.com.au to be cheap and decent quality contacts but I`d keep a look out for their sales because I got 5 pairs for $100 last sale.

Yes Disco is totally right. Coloured contacts are best used as one-offs, like for a costume party or a very specific and unique look. They should not be worn regularly, especially if you don`t need a prescription to wear contacts in the first place.
Because even good-quality coloured contacts are designed to emphasise colour and NOT the ability to allow the eye to breathe or rest or properly maintain moisture, you are putting yourself at risk by putting something unnecessary in your eye.
Do it once every so often, don`t do it regularly. You don`t need them; your eyes are already beautiful!

There is no need for coloured contacs. They can damage your eyes and you can lose your sight. I`d be careful if I were you, use them with caution.
Ha i would agree….i used them all the time in high school anyway they caned my eyes (Hurt) anyway I would put up with them but they r so much thicker and r a b*tch to ur eyes……i had to put my besties in every morning in the school toilets aswell as she wasnt that good at inserting them hey!
