I want to try a few cenage ones however they are very expensive.
Does anyone know how different the prices are compared to tafe?

They are asking for $2074 but it is a centrelink approved course.
It`s nationally recognised and is registered with NSW VETAB. The structure is 15 written assessments and 15 workplace assessments (approximately 3 weeks work experience)… so I do get some “”hands on”” experience.
The only reason I am considering doing it this way is because it is not offered close by (and not by OTEN) and I desperately need the flexibility.
    Thankyou for your feedback girls!!!

Im doing a childcare course at the min. I looked around for a long time before picking the company and getting advice from people.
In the end I went with OTEN, its part of TAFE so its nationally recognised and I think my one is internationally recognised too. Also, andthis is the biggest reason, you know TAFE is not going to go out of business anytime soon so your qualifications are going to be recognised by businesses still.
You also have heaps of help and support by the TAFE teachers.

I must admit I was tempted to go with Cengage but Im glad I did go with OTEN, maybe you could look into that and see if they offer it.

It`s best to do it at tafe so u get hands on and all make up is provided. If I did
anything online I would never do it lol. How much are they asking for the course?
