I tried a BYS blush sampler at Gloss & I had a hell of a time trying to rub it off. It lasts, I’ll say that!

I’ve used a few bys products and most of them are okay. Their eye liners were good and lasted a fair while but can be kind of clumpy and smudge when you first put them on. Their eyeshadows are nice if you use a primer and alot of them have some good pigmentation. The blush is my favourite thing they make (the colour ‘coral’ is my fav). Their lipgloss in candy is good but theres better ones out there. The nail polish doesn’t really last but its good if you only want to wear it once. The foundation sucks though I only swatched it and it went orange pretty much straight away. Anyone tried their primers?

I personally have bought two of the BYS face products, foundation and compact powder.
Both worked lovely for me, no problems with the foundation at all, it actually was one of the best foundations I owned until moving onto high-end products.
The compact powder works magic as well, it doesn’t feel heavy on your face and it isn’t even noticeable which is perfect.
Their brushes are quite good too but my favorite has to be the tampered brush, so good, smooth and really soft! -

I actually really like the liquid full coverage foundation.
It has great coverage and a dewy finish. You can buy a matte version but I have not tried it.It doesn’t last long on my skin but same goes for the mac studio sculpt I bought. I think my skin is too oily in summer so they just slide and sweat off no matter what primer I use. I might get better results in winter!

I haven’t tried their other products, but I found their eyeshadows to work beautifully with me, even with out primer. They stay well, has great pigmentation. TBH, I find this brand works better for me personally in terms of colour choice than say Revlon/Maybelline/Loreal.
Definitely worth a try, since it’s all less than $10.
My skin type is Asian :DDD

Their eyeshadows are actually pretty good in my opinion, comparable to Revlon and Covergirl, as long as you use a primer – I used the Australis eyeshadow primer with them and they looked great!
I also tried a creme foundation from them as I love Covergirl Aqua Smooth and other creme to powder foundations…It has an awful, awful plastic smell which makes me gag and it doesn’t set. Stays wet for ages and if you accidentally bump your face you get finger print marks or nicks in it…just like you would with wet nailpolish.
I’ve bought three of their lipsticks and they don’t seem to work on me even though i’ve heard so many good reviews about them..On me they just make my lips look dry and gunked with dead skin :/ Not nice.
Their concealer is awful, it turns orange no matter what and looks absolutely disgusting.
I’d say they are pretty hit and miss…but you get what you pay for in most cases.

I’m keen to try their brushes … everyone seems to be pretty happy with them.
