Silicone gel scar sheets can be ordered onljne you will need to cover and change dressing over about 8 weeks or longer but will really help the healing process. An exes scarring healed really well with the silicone gel sheets after oil burns, great for surgery scarring or any new scars or burns. Bio oil is great to add to regular baths and after showers for scarring, helps tone skin and even pigmentation over time, adds moisture and has a range of benefits. People are alwats dissapointed in this oil but is definitely worth it over time. You can add rosehip oil and vitamin e pierced capsule to your bio oil and rub that on regularly 2-3 times a day. Have a mixture of these 3 oils in another bottle, lavendar oil is great for lightening scars as well.

I have used dermalmd scar serum on a few burn scars and it really had made the appearance minimal to nonexistent. It`s easy to use and the smell isn`t too strong or repulsive.

I just burned my hand, what should i put on for it to heal quickly. from the stuff that I have at home

do you mean JUST now , like moments ago??

    COLD WATER!!!!!!
dont try to run or pet it dry tho with material.

water – run it on ur hand. then make a icy bowl of water.
and once its not stinging as much, u can let out

and rtry to use soothing gel or cream
a aloe vera one may hlep
but there are burn creams u can put on ( i have this old one caleld paxyl), but go t oa chemist and get help.

No!! Ice water is bad for burns, particularly the worse they are. Ice can burn the skin as well. Cool/room temp running water for 20 mins followed by cool (not cold!) wet cloths. Aloe is a good healer, and if it blisters, don`t pop it, as that leads to worse scarring.

    ididnt mean icecold water. sorry.
i meant after running it in tap cold water, u ca n hold it in a bowl that u make.. i have done this , with just i drop some ice cubes intothe water, so i dont have to wait. my tap water is never cold.
i think i explainmed it badly. not freezing cold water.

    i agree about the blisters.
once its a day or 2 later i have tken burns where i put a lot of vaesline on them ,to amke sure they dont rub on anything , to help it sooth eback down and not pop. its agood thing under a band aid.

Honestly bio oil worked pretty well for me. I had ba stretch marks in between my thighs. Yes they did fade over time but were still really visible even though they were white. When I fell pregnant I started using bio oil and my stretch marks after about two months were almost invisible. I will admit that I have got stretch marks from pregnancy but minimal. And I`m due in 5 weeks. Stretch marks on my breasts are non existant even though the last time I was pregnant I got them all over my breast so I do think it makes a difference.
