Botox – Love it or Hate it?

I love Botox, have had it once and have booked in for my follow up. I do get a lot of flack from some women about it though. What do you think?

Why put poisons into your body. Life is too short & who is to say that you are not allergic to it?

each to their own but personally injecting posion into muscles isn;t really my idea of a good beauty remedy age gracefully thats what i say it`s better than a frozen face

    Nothings ever to late Princess75,
prevention is better than cure and its never to late to start.
Thats funny, your entire head done, sounds like a psycotic episode..

I`d possibly consider it when my frown lines get a little deeper (is it too late then?). I think you only get the expressionless freak face when you have pretty much your entire head done don`t you?
There is a product on TVSN called Freeze24/7& go that claims to do the smoothing etc without botox. I`ve thought of trying it but it`s $100 so I want to try before I buy, I might contact TVSN to see if I can get a sample. hhmmmm.

It`s cool if others want to have it, but I`ve been scared away from the cartoon-style representations of people who don`t look happy even when they say they are, but you can`t tell. And I HATE needles!
In 20yrs I`ll probably change my mind, or use their bottle spray range LOL

Sarahjane, I wouldn`t worry what other people think about you having botox. For a start, just don`t tell anyone, and second, they are probably just jealous anyway that you`re doing something to make yourself look even more fabulous! Damn it – if it feels good, go ahead and do it! 🙂

I`ve been thinking about doing it for some time – I`m almost 36 but I have some frown lines on my forehead that I`m really conscious of – they haven`t become deeper or any worse since I was about 27 (I had a very stressful analyst job until I became a mum and I would scrunch up my face when we had major deadlines and were working 18+ hour days 6/7 days a week – and nobody bothered to tell me to stop screwing up my face cos it would give me wrinkles! lol )

The needles don`t hurt, thank god, cos I`m petrified. I got a good amount put in, not too much but enough so that when I smile or frown there are no crows feet or that mad wrinkle between my eyebrows! I still have all the other expressions, it just looks smooth and relaxed.
