Bio Sculpture Nails

Has anyone else had bio sculpture gel on their nails? I have been having it done for several months now as it’s supposed to be great, zero damage to nails, blah blah. However, I find after a week it either lifts off or starts cracking and I have recently had it buffed off and my nails are thin, weak and soft! Has anyone else had problems with this before?

From so many days I have been searching for foot and hand care tips, and I want natural tips to maintain my nails.

Can any one have any suggestions in this regard? And any kind of suggestions would be greatly accepted.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the Canberra/Queanbeyan area? I am looking at getting mine done, but want to make sure the person I use knows what they are doing. Thanks

@Gouldies & others looking to get them done in Perth:

I can warmly recommend Catherine from Perth Bio Sculpture Nails. She made a French overlay for me 10 days ago which looks amazing – totally natural, as if there wouldn`t be anything but polish on them. 10 days later they`re still hard as nails and look well groomed.

I believe Catherine works in a salon in Claremont but she also has a salon set up in Palmyra. I love my nails and also really loved the atmosphere – it was really relaxing and soothing and Catherine`s great to chat to. The whole experience could not have been more different from some of the salons I saw in the CBD.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will be trying her out 🙂

I never understand why ppl dont realise that evne if fakes will look nice or `cover bad natural nails`
the fakes will only ever weaken and make ur real nails worse, and ruin the nail bed.. and its like quitting smoking -after ur lungs can heal somewhat wityh time. nails can then be grought back into good health, if u give it long enouhg of good care but ther is no way that weaking fakes is going to be a help to ur nails under at all.

    Hi

Do you remember the name of the place in Perth where you used to get your nails done? I`m looking for a good nail tech who does Bio Sculpture nails.

    Thanks

Hey Mel, waving back at you :–) I loved those nails until they had to come off, it was such a shame but it just took months to get my nails back to normal. Mine are normally reasonably healthy so I just decided not to go there again. It`s good to be back, we have all been sick for months but fingers crossed, everyone will stay well. 🙂

Glad to hear your in better health now, I have been MIA a bit lately too, not enough hours in the day, lol 😉

These are great in terms of how long they last, although they do peel very occasionally. However, when mine had to be removed because I was going to hospital, my real nails were completely ruined and took months to recover. I personally would never have them again for this reason. It was a shame because otherwise I loved them.

Hey Hooha (waving madly, long time no see girlfriend) thanks heaps for the insight, that is an instant turn off for me, reminded me of the acrylics I had when I was a teen and it made my crappy nails the worst they have ever been. I will pass my nails don`t need to get dried out and damaged thanks very much, haha. Thanks for sharing 🙂
