Bio Oil

Hi beauties, I was just wondering if anyone has used Bio Oil, do you have any feedback? love it? hate it? I have stretch marks on the tops of my legs, i’d like to try it. I saw it on-sale at the chemist near my house for $6.99 is this a bargain? no idea how much it usually is.

Thanks xox

Bio oil didn’t work well for me at all.
It gave me breakouts and it didn’t help with the stretchmarks at all.
All it did was moisturise my skin. But it’s worked really well for some of my other friends so you should probably give it a try? 🙂
    good luck

    Personally, i love it!
I suddenly had a lot of stretch marks appear on my chest and so i used bio oil every morning and night as suggest, just massaging a small amount in and within 1.5-2 months, the strech marks were unnoticable! they do meantion tho, that bio oil works better on fresher stretch marks which have just appeared rather than the deep, darker ones but give it a go!

I used bio oil every day all through my pregnancy and I didnt get any stretch marks on my tummy. The oil is really amazing and I continue to use it now when I have a scar or anything that looks like it might leave a mark on my skin.

I tried using it for a while – just to improve my facial skin, and found it did nothing, although a lot of people seem to rave about it. For $6.99 it’s probably worth giving it a go though.

I have used it on peeling skin from sunburn in the past and I thought it was ok. I’m not keen enough to try it on anything for dramatic than that though. I know people who’ve tried it for scarring etc. and didn’t find it did much. So I do like it but wasn’t overlly thrilled

My sister used bio oil on a big scar after breaking her arm and having a metal piece placed in he arm. It was a huge scar and still there now but she said it really helped lighten the scar. So that’s why I decided to use it on my face as I have acne scarring. It didn’t work well on that but it is a really good moisturizer for my face and works on those wrinkles and lines, it gives me a more plump complexion. I’d say that it may help with the stretch marks somewhat and really smooth out your skin but it may not make a huge different where you’ll say ‘WOW’. But it’s worth a try and that bargain price!!!!

I’m not a big fan of bio oil. Stretch marks do fade over time so be patient.
