BEST NEW BEAUTY AWARDS

Hi beauties!

It’s an exciting time here at bh HQ, so we’re here to share some updates about our upcoming (biiiiig drumroll please) BEST NEW BEAUTY AWARDS.

Now we know you might be wondering… what on earth are the Best New Beauty Awards? In fact, you might also be wondering where on earth the Glosscars went?! But don’t worry, we promise we’re still as devoted as ever to crowning the top new beauty launches from the year just passed. So devoted, in fact, that we’ve given our awards a fresh name and a fresh look to match. We think it sums up the goal well – we’re looking for the best new beauty products, and we’re determined to find ‘em. With the help of our trusty members, of course.

Part of the awards program is a shared trial box. Invites have been sent out (keep an eye on your inbox!), with the box packed with some standout product nominees we have full faith you’ll love, and voting for the BNB Awards will run from Wednesday May 21st to Wednesday May 28th. The members selected onto the trial box will form the voting panel for this year Best New Beauty awards. From there (once all the votes have been counted), the winners will be announced week commencing the 9th of June, right here on beautyheaven.

We’re so thrilled to kick off our first-ever Best New Beauty Awards and we hope you’ll join us in gearing up for all the good stuff (AKA product-crowning) to come.

    I have tried 3 times now to post my reviews and each time when I finish it disappears and takes me back to the beginning. I can’t do this again and I have reached out to beautyhaven but have not heard back. However I keep getting reminders to submit my review.

    I am having a frustrating time trying to review. I clicked on the link in the email but as soon as I log in I lose the link, get the link back and have to log in again. Just going around in circles at the moment.

    EDIT – I found the very first email and was able to review from that!! I was originally going from the email that said we’d been selected! Relieved!!!!

      @Trish_D – the BeautyHeaven website has had this issue for a while – basically if you load any page first without logging in, it caches that page on your browser – you will see evidence of this if you look on the top right corner – if it still says ‘LOG IN’ after you have logged in, you are viewing a cached page that will keep redirecting you to the login page whenever you try to post any content.

      Force a page reload by using Ctrl+F5 (assuming you are using Windows). Then you will see the top right corner display ‘MY ACCOUNT’.

    Does anyone have a list of the products received Maybe I’ve missed it. There was always someone who would put up a list – especially with so many regulars on this trial 🙂

      Glam Glaze Spray (for heat activated hair)
      Manicare Ultra Comfy Lashes, Matilda
      Hada Labo Lotion Intense (a serum)
      Dai_y Double Ceramide Miracle Night Cream and either
      Maybelline Superfluffe Brow Mousse or
      Maybelline Superstay Teddy Tint, 12hour soft matte lip tint.

    I’m on the trial too and have received my box including the eyebrow mousse. Loving the hada labo the most so far, and funny as I bought a similar product from them recently when in Japan!

      Yes the serum has become a ‘go to’ for me – it just feels so good to get it on the skin and what a good size it comes in – great for slathering down the neck area and decolletage area too.

      The whole range looks good and it is Japans No.1 skincare brand so it must be everywhere over there. It’s my favourite out of the box.

    Have enjoyed trialling all five of these Best New Beauty products. My favourite so far has been the Japanese Hada Labo Lotion. It’s very moisturising and glided on super smoothly. Great size for my travel bag too. Very surprised with the Manicare Matilda style eyelashes as a first time user. So natural and glamourous in an instant.
