Best moisturising sheer lipstick?

Hi girls, which brand do you think makes the most moisturising sheer lipstick?

I have two Dior Ultra-shine lipsticks that I love because they are not sticky like lipstick but provide moisturising shine. But I am interested to know if there are other brands out there that are even better, or if there are any cheaper alternatives. The prices of these dior ones are a bit steep 🙁

There are 132 forum topics related to lipstick, but this is the only thread that I can adapt to my question …

I`m writing a review for some Elizabeth Arden lipsticks with a moisturising formula. All the lipsticks fell apart within a few applications, so I want to give them a low star rating. I just want to ask if people think that this is fair when moisturising lipsticks generally aren`t as sturdy as matte lipsticks. However, these lipsticks deteriorated much faster than other moisturising lipsticks that I`ve had. I used the lipsticks in the colder months, so heat did not cause them to fall apart.

I love the Bloom lip tints. Great colours (my fave is Veil), and they pretty much feel like a lip balm, but look better.

I used an Elizabeth Arden one a couple of years ago, it was the 8 hour sheer lip tint, it was a great plum color and felt more like lip balm, so moisturising, it was fantastic ~ come to think of it, why aren`t i still using it !! 🙂

  • Maybelline`s watershine lipsticks are really nice and sheer.they have the shin of a lipgloss as well as being a good colour and the colours, especially strawberry ice cream and peach juice are just gorgeous

L`Oreal Lipstick Colour Juice is a good one to try

I just recently saw that Laura Mercier has some new very sheer lipsticks in really nice shades. I tried one on at a DJ counter but it was too sheer for me (my lips are fairly dark) but if you have a lighter skin tone and this is what you`re looking for perhaps they are worth checking out.

Hi Music, Im a bit like that when I have had a problem with a place that has bad customer service – as you pay for a service you expect it. So I know where you are coming from

Im sure I will get to know you along the journey in BH

I know at least one other member who loves EL but not so keen on their customer service either. Personally if I don`t like the customer service I don`t stick to the products, no matter how good the products are. It`s a matter of principal. Each one to their own! 🙂

Correction: not frustration, it`s more annoyed. If you`ve known me long enough you`ll find that I`m not easily frustrated as I`m a reasonably patient woman of many talents! Hahaha….

    Hi Music

Thanks for the link to your comment about EL

I can understand your frustration – but I still love their products and no offense taken

Lol if you`re posting that after ever post I made today you might be very busy as I made alot of posts today about their products. I fell in love with them when my make up artist used them the first time and ever since I love their products

Can`t help it, I think I`m going to post this after every EL threads if I could. No offense, bad service doesn`t deserve good publicity! 🙂

Sorry, not keen to try EL at all. Very bad customer service, puts me off buying anything from them again.
