thanks 4 all the advice 🙂 P75 I`m going 2 have a chat with my gp tomorrow, i`m wondering if mine is hormonal, i think a blood test would be handy 4 me 2 check up on a few things atm, just hate having them done though- i`m an unfortunate fainter! I`ve seen a naturopath & tried aromatherapy, even had my iridologist check but according to all i`m healthy & fine… except 4 when the migraines hit! I agree sharna 2 it`s important 2 keep an eye on oneself & not over do things, esp. 2 look out for the warning signs, It`s easy 2 neglect ourselves while lifes hectic pace moves on. Allyr81 i`m not keen on dr`s so the surgery idea would be probably a super last resort 4 me but its interesting 2 know about & something i`ll read up more about. Style Queen i too have a back condition which started end of last year and though it`s not the root cause of my migraines i have no doubt that the pain it gives me at times definitely contributes to my migraines once they arrive, I do have physio routines etc that i do religiously 2 try & help…. Guess i`ll just keep trying the relax & relieve methods and hope my gp can determine why i`m getting them. Once again, thanks 4 all the advice, sad that so many of us have 2 battle these crazy migraines!

hey goddessmagick, they can be hormonal. maybe get your hormone levels checked out, especially when you get the next bout, it`s the last thing you`ll feel like but it`s worth looking into.
have you seen a naturopath or aromatherapist?

I have suffered chronic migranes my entire life so i know what everyone is going through! they can be hereditary but also can be caused by other things. i had to go to the doctor so often and now years later am seeing a chriopracter, it turns out there are serious problems with my back and neck which have been causing the migranes. caused by some sort of accident when i was very young, so if you suffer really badly like me it might be an option to go and have a checkup and investigate further.
