I was diagnosed with inoperable brain tumour 2 yrs ago. Given a matter of a couple of months to live. I saw news story on an australian man who tried to save his wife by going overseas for Cyberknife. I rang him and he assisted me in getting Cyberknife in Malaysia. 1 day of treatment, no drugs, no side effects, I was back at work the next week. 2 yrs on and cancer free.
2 things. People shouldnt need to go overseas to get life saving treatment. This is worldwide in 200 hospitals. I joined a group – Bring cyberknife to Australia on facebook. Great support group and petition to get it here.
Also, the man who helped me has been left wit a huge cancer debt and is being forced from his home with his young family. I set up a group to help him for only $2.50.
