Awesome Novels
Hey girls!
I love to read so I wanted to create a thread about books people are reading and what titles are hot the moment!
So please, add whatever comes to your mind about books, books, books!
Im reading the Pretty Little Liars series at the moment – OMG I’m obsessed!
Since they starting airing the television series, I decided to be ahead of the episodes and read the books. Love them to bits!

I’m re-reading Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta for the millionth time. It’s my favourite novel as has been since I was in school. I grabbed the stand alone sequel to it yesterday called The Piper’s Son that I’m really looking forward to.
I finished reading Mercy by Rebecca Lim before that and it was actually really good despite a kind of weird moment at the end. Looking forward to the sequel that comes out next month.
I plan to read the Twilight books again before November so that I’m up with the story. I kind of forgot most of Eclipse before I watched its movie.
How beautiful is Saving Francesca?! I have the book and read it years ago, but I’m gonna start reading it again.
I wish she had more books out! I’m going to read Finnikin of the Rock after that for the first time. Have you read the Jacklyn Moriarty books too? I find they are not as deep, but equally funny.

the angel’s game and the shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Saffon.
Isabele Allende is also a wonderful writer.
100 years of soltiude, secret history, sharp objetcs, equator.
The bronze horseman, the girl in times square, tully (anything my paullina simmons really).
minette walters also has some good crime novels.

Glad to hear you enjoy Seneca too! Euripidies is great, can’t remember if I read Helen. Sophocles’ Anitgone and Oedipus were quite memorable to me as well. Cool to hear you’re doing hons. I wanted to do it too, but I would’ve done it in English lit I think.
It’s good that you enjoyed A Room with a View because I don’t think I know anyone else who’s read it. I always like recommendations, and I love watching adaptations as well. It would be interesting to watch that Passage to India film, but as I didn’t really understand the book I’m not sure I’d have much luck watching the movie.
I really enjoyed Antigone too:) Yeah I’m not sure if A Passage to India is worth recommending – I mean, I did get through it but I do recall fast forwarding through some parts which is never a good thing lol! A Room with a View was much better…in fact, all this talk has made me want to watch it again:)
