Australia – The Movie

I really liked the movie too, thought at some parts it was overly dramatic and at other times slightly dull. Overall though, it`d definitely be one that I`ll watch again :]

I saw the movie a few weeks ago and I loved it! Having heard it rubbished by all the critics I didn`t go in expecting much but I thought it was a great film and Nicole was great. I`m not a big fan of hers at the best of times but I don`t think she deserves all the criticism she has gotten about her acting.

I havent seen the movie but from the ad`s it looks boring lol

I have just seen Australia and I loved the little boy who was in this movie he has a big future ahead of him he just made my heart melt.

I have to say that I am still not in a hurry to go see this movie. Have heard mixed reviews, a lot saying that its too long!
Although I really really like Hugh, I so cannot stand Nicole! In my opinion she is so fake – everything from her voice, to her frozen face (Sharon Osborne has said that Nicole has a forehead like a plasma screen…. ha ha!).
And I cannot remember seeing any good movies with Nicole… maybe I`ll see it when I can rent it on a weekly dvd for $2!!

Watched “”Australia”” last night. Even my husband liked it! I really enjoyed the movie. Made me feel very patriotic!

Australia the movie is out! 🙂 i cant wait to see it! it looks to be a greta movie which will promote our land with pride

I really want to see this movie, especially after watching the `Making Of` Special. I really hope that it`s as good as it seems in the ads. Hugh Jackman- wow!!

I happened to be in a few of the places while filming was on, and I saw Nicole Kidman, While lots of people say she seems very nice, I can`t say I had the same experience. She seemed at best, shy or in her own world, or at worst, cold and totally into herself. Sorry if you`re a fan but thats what I htink when someone snubs their fans!

Anyhoo… the scenery looks beautiful, they actually created the Faraway Downs property from scratch for the movie, and had to get filming done before the wet season flooding started.

The scenes which were `Broome` were actually somewhere else (was it Kununurra?) and Australia actually got bombed 63 times during WW2!!

Love love love Nicole`s Navy & White Boat costume… gorgeous! (I think Dita Von Teese will be along shortly to steal it!) 😉

Thanks for your opinions on “”Australia”” MishMoshy and Beauty Bee. I think I`ll probably see it at the cinemas this weekend. Can`t wait!

I just got home from the movies and I saw AUSTRALIA I just love it and I am ready to go and see it again right now.

Hugh – well I am still weak at the knees
Brandon (apologies if I got it wrong) – absolutely amazing what a future this little boy has and those cute eyes are ……………. I just wanted to give him a big hug.
