Alone

I moved to a new town about 7 years ago, at at first it was ok, i was a little homesick for the city but soon mae friends, Since then, someone said some extremely nasty and untrue things about me, and my so called friends turned on me, no i live in a town with no friends, i even had to leave my job because of the harrassment, I’m stuck in this small town until mid next year. I can’t even work locally because no one in this town will employ me, and i can’t put them on my resume because i had to quit the job, the management won’t give me a good refrence despite the fact that i was a loyal and hard working employee for 18mths. I’m looking forward to leaving here for sure, i’m counting down the days, but how do i learn to trust people again?

    My heart goes out to you , Stay strong keep your head up high . People are so quick to belive the gossip no matter what was said or done . Flick the people and the town to the kerb ? Move somewhere that you like and started fresh when you can . Beside good thing come to those who wait .{ Karma .} In the mean time don’t waste time on her as she will come unstuck . she will do or say the wrong thing to some one else and people will see what she is like . As for trusting people it will take time , go very careful with what you say . I have a lot of trouble trusting people i’m very caution with everyone i meet , it has taken me years for me to let my wall down. PLEASE DON’T LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOU . STAY STRONG everyone on bh is here for you . hope everything work out for you xxx .

    That’s sad to hear Suzey. Usually when a friend does that…….they are usually jealous of something about you, I know because it was done to me. It is a horrible feeling when people say untruths about you. I always believe in Karma though……the girl that started the lies, it will come back on her one day for sure.

    I still find it hard to trust people that I meet now……..but I go with my gut instinct on people now. I don’t become their best trusted friend until I feel comfortable with them and it may take years before I do.

    All you can do at the moment Suzey is just keep your head up, you have done nothing wrong. You never know, something may happen in the meantime and friends that you made could change opinions. I hope it does.

    Why don’t you just spread nasty rumours about that person who spread rumours about you? (Yes, I belive revenge is sweet >:] ) Why can’t you leave the town now?

    I guess the only way to learn how to trust people again, is to trust yourself. If you think your friend will turn her back on you, then leave her. Not everyone in the world is bad :]

    Geez it’s shocking to see what the world is coming to eh? Crimes, murders, Robberies, bombs, terrorists, wars….. even bullying at school! Can’t everyone just live in harmony ?

    Well, I hope the direction of the wind will change and everything will work out fine for you. Sorry I’m not much help 🙁 But good luck with finding a job and moving towns! 🙂
