I love Russian literature.

Are you fans of Bulgakov or Nabokov?

Do you like Tolstoy or Dostoevsky?

How about Pushkin and Pishoff and Sholokhov and Sodoff?

This actually prompted me to dig out my unread Nabokov, Dostoevsky, and Tolstoy. I am currently completing an exam but I am so excited to get back into Russian lit again!

Ooh, good luck on your exam, @Ethelinde! What’s it for?

I’m a huge fan of Russian lit – Tolstoy’s War & Peace is one of my all time favourite books. Sholokhov is on my reading list.

Most regard Anna Karenina to be Tolstoy’s greatest work, but I’m all about War & Peace. Anna Karenina was truly a great work, but I hated Anna herself.

I have read a fair bit of Tolstoy but not War and Peace, which I own and is sitting on my shelf glaring at me. I otherwise prefer Nabokov’s prose.

They most likely won’t get it but I couldn’t resist a joke at their expense.

The spam is now getting offensive with links to horrible porn sites.
