This is an old thread but I would like to reply anyway 🙂 Do a group purchase and all put in for something gold?? I love rose gold but I just love jewellery in general so anything is good.

As they are your older friends and you might have some memories with them like pictures or something like that. So I would suggest you to go for customize gift for them and that would be a perfect choice. I am sure they will like this gift idea.

Really depends on their personality and also your budget.. but a few things you can’t go wrong with are a pampering session/dinner or gift voucher from adrenaline or red balloon

I myself am quite sentimental and love like a photo scrap book or even a recipe one of everyone’s signature dish!

Another thing I know someone got you can order online is a newspaper or magazine print out from the day they were born! I think its a great idea….

I don’t think you can go wrong with a pampering voucher regardless of the age. This is always a winner some people don’t take the time to pamper themselves however if it’s given to them as a gift it just feels more indulgent. Hope your friend has a great 40th 🙂

I’ve just looked at the Edible Blooms site you mentioned Shopaholicshell and am thinking this may be the perfect gift for one of my friends. I found a pretty little pair of gold earrings which I think one friend will like and a lovely silver and amber pendant in the shape of a flower for my bestie, so that’s two gifts taken care of . . . a few more to go but I’ll keep checking back here for more ideas from all you lovely BH beauties.
