where do you get your information?

apart from BH where do you get most of your beauty information from prior to purchase?
how much do you base your purchasing habits from youtubers?

i used to base a lot of my purchases on youtubers but i find now it is becoming more opinionated and not factual. also finding a lot of youtubers are having semi bias reviews either because they are gifted a product or because they dont want to be put in the bad books by a brand.

I still watch reviews from youtube,I generally am more likely to believe reviews from some of the smaller youtubers and recently have been watching more content from project panners as most are pretty upfront about PR products etc

Agree most of these popular YouTubers are sponsored and you can’t make a decision based on just one vid. I usually watch a few now videos and then google for reviews for products. I use productreview to check reviews as well. With them they don’t allow spammers and they pretty Strict about their review submitions.

I too get most of my product reviews from YouTube! I do know what you mean about them sometimes feeling biased…my best piece of advice is to watch a few videos from a YouTuber to get a sense of feel if they’re genuine or not, some are still really good and honest. Because of these youtubers, I’ve found a tone of products that are now my favorites!

For the exclusive brands I think Beautypedia from Paula Begoun is very interesting . I saw her on Oprah Winfrey and she is passionate about analysing the ingredients. Quite fun to read at most times too.
