Definitely feels effective
This product is based on plant stem cells! Such a great concept. Andalou is an American company, cruelty free and vegan, so good! Packaging is simole. And clean looking.
Delicious smell
I received this sunscreen from Beauty Heaven as part of
A trial (thank you beauty heaven)!
Does the job
Foot and heel balm plus.
First of all, thank you Beauty Heaven for letting me try this product!

Eek! Nasty!
Thanks for the info, Janefre!
Omg wow, one of the regular forum peeps was saying that they didn’t want to use due to worry about eye and skin safety? Looks like she was spot on with that concern!
I remember that review as well!
OMG - thank you, Janefre. Doesn't concern me but it is something not everyone would see. The warning is definitely appreciated.
Yup, I just posted on another thread about this.
Sometimes these things are best left treated within a dermatologist's clinic.
Just not worth the risk!
Sheesh, I have not used this myself but thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing, but this does not surprise me.
Thanks for sharing Janefre - very interesting development. Always wondered about this product.
Yeah this is what Neutrogena stated on their fb page:
You may have noticed that the NEUTROGENA® Visibly Clear™ Light Therapy Acne Mask and Activator are not available where you shop in Australia. That’s because these products have been recalled.
This action is being undertaken as a precautionary measure.
As part of our quality and safety commitment, we routinely monitor our products and review the latest science. Following reports of generally mild, rare and transient visual adverse events, combined with a growing scientific discussion around the safety of blue light, we further evaluated the potential effects of the Mask on the eye.
It has been identified that there is a theoretical risk of eye injury for a small subset of the population with certain underlying eye conditions, as well as for users taking medications which could enhance the eye’s sensitivity to light. We have not received any reports of eye injury in this small subset of individuals with the underlying eye conditions.
In alignment with the recommendation of the TGA, if you have purchased these devices, immediately discontinue use. To return the devices and obtain a refund visit www.neutrogena.com.au/lightmaskrecall

We sincerely regrets any inconvenience to its consumers.
OMG I was a part of the secret trial team for this mask last year and I thought that the light was way too bright for my eyes to handle. So I always closed my eyes when I used it during the trial, but I only used it maybe once since the trial ended. Will not use again.
Oh wow that is not good to read
Interesting. There are soooo many LED masks on the market and one that costs over 600 bucks has blue LED as well. On the market for year or so and not recalled.
Now we get the hype about using blue light protecting skincare and SPF. And also bombarded with the "benefits" of blasting skin with the blue light. So stupid.
I am using NuFace LED (has no blue light) and as any spectrum LED it is bright. Flashes. Been on the market for many many years. No probs. So wondering .....
Oh that is a bit scary. I have not used this Device but I have had LED light treatment in salon.
Hey Beautybabe: we were all congratulating you on the "Product Review Milestones", thread, page 12, a few months ago when you hit the 1000 reviews mark, www.beautyheaven.com.au/forums/talkback/product-review-milestones?
Aww thank you so much. I don't know how I missed that. Thanks so much.
It's an impressive feat, Beautybabe! & I see that you'll soon be cracking 1100!
Thanks so much. Oh yes almost there. You are keeping better track than me :).
Scary stuff, sounds like a product to avoid using if you already have one. I never see the ordinary news let alone news of product recalls so thanks for sharing this info for those who might have one of these devices.
Wow this is so interesting and scary! I have seen a lot of the blue light masks around too. Definitely not worth hurting your eyes.
Wow that is crazy!! I've never used anything like it myself personally.
Thanks for sharing. My light mask have red lights on them.....I always use it with my eyes closed. Maybe I should buy an eye protector like the ones they use in salons?
I received an email from Priceline today as I purchased one from there at the start of the year! I had no adverse affects but was about to purchase a new activator! Have boxed it up and sending it back for a refund. The returns process via neutrogena was very easy and I was able to print a free returns label at home. I hope no one has had any bad reactions. I actually really liked the treatment and found it did help my acne so I’m a bit freaked out! Please make sure you send it back if you have one at home!
