Oops! Have you done this?

I’ve had really dry lips since the cooler weather kicked in so I decided to get a tin of Lip Butter out of my stash.
I had been using it on my lips for about 3 weeks with no real difference.
One night just before bed, I went to open the tin but couldn’t because I had just put on some thick handcream so I asked hubby to open it for me.
As I handed the tin of “Lip Butter” to him he said ‘Hmmm Cuticle Cream what will they thing of next’.
WHAT THE? I was thinking. Nivea & Burts Bees have the same sized tins for two different products. No wonder my lips didn’t feel moisturised.
Have you inadvertently done something like this?

I’ve used Nivea body lotion in the shower. I read it and thought “lotion = body wash”.
Was very confused why it wasn’t washing off in the shower 🙁 I used it twice before I realised.

Lol. Same here. Mistaken body wash as shampoo, applying eye cream to my face and such… hahaha.
Sometimes that’s just very silly and don’t know what really happen to my brain.

My toners come in pretty large bottles, so I decant them into clear plastic bottles. I was rushing out of the house once and I grabbed my water bottle from my bedside table. Midway through the day I tried to take a swig, then I realised that the cap was a flip top – I had taken my toner with me instead!

Definitely sounds like something I’d do!

Haha! The guy I work with is a tight arse and rather than buy his own deodorant, he takes my Rexona spray deodorant out of my drawer and uses it. We get along really well, so it’s no real issue. However, on one occasion I was in his office with a client (his office opens onto mine) and he kept going back and forth to my desk drawers to use my deodorant. He did it about three or four times in the space of 15 minutes. I couldn’t work out why. Turns out what he thought was deodorant was in fact my hair spray. He couldn’t understand why he was getting sticky under the arms :))

My husband had sunburn so I sprayed him with some after sun spray. Next day I realised I’d lovingly rubbed in air freshener!

I once had a neighbour who thought he was spraying a spider with Mortein but it was actually Fabulon.
