I was delighted to have participated in the survey. I wish that there was more room in the survey so that I could have provided much more feedback, but I mostly commented on the spam issue.
I asked that the age and skin type of reviewers be visible for each person’s review. Products often perform differently on older skin. For example, an eyeliner might be great on smooth and young skin, but it might tug or skip on older skin. When I joined BH, I wasted lots of money by buying highly recommended products that turned out to be unsuitable for me. I eventually realised that most of the reviews had been by younger people.
I commented on some of the reviews for a few brands that look suspicious, Typically these are when a brand joins BH and the highly positive reviews magically appear within a short time period.
My last comment was about some reviews being unhelpful. I can read a review about a product but the reviewer has not shared anything helpful about it. Some reviewers do not even say the shade name of a makeup product.
